Feet Heaven!
Oooooh.....
It’s snowing out. A few inches have accumulated. The kids are outside playing, I’m starting hibernation mode. I’m not a fan of winter. The cold, the snow, the darkness, cold feet…Not my best friend. It’s okay though because we have a woodstove, two TVs, and I seem to be able to keep myself busy indoors with the ol’ arts ‘n’ crafts thing. How appropriate for me to receive the Halcyon Yarn catalog yesterday, I think they planned it that way (snow=good yarn sales).
As I was flipping through the pages of said delicious catalog, I bumped smack into the above, Mukluk slippers. How lovely do those look? Big, quick stitches, bulky yarn. Love ‘em! I know someone special who would love ‘em too (Hi Grammy)! I wonder if they have a washable bulky wool yarn…I think I’ll make a trip there this afternoon. I hope they’re open today.

Got this catalog, too and was looking at sock yarn to make a pair of socks (not these) for a friend for her February birthday! be sure to let us know what you find when you go there :-)
