Here is my simple yet interesting Nellie No Friends Week 2 homework.  We were asked to neatly arrange a collection of items on a postcard sized area, each item following a certain criteria.  First I needed to find something from my childhood, so I started with the little lamp.  It’s from the dollhouse I had as a little girl.  It actually plugged in to a bureau that had batteries  in it so that the lamp actually turned on.  The D stands for dollhouse.  How I loved playing with my dollhouse!  I often have glimpses of great art I could make with dollhouse furniture.

We were also asked to add something from our craft stash and so I piled on the googly eyes, neatly of course.  We then had to add a bit of texture, so on went the vintage mini pom-poms.   I needed a piece of jewelry, hence the cool queen and a piece of nature, which is the little mussel shell from a beach here in Maine.  These arranged collections are so fun, I could play around with this idea all day, even altering the pics with some sort of online app.
